10-1 Semi-conductive Swellable Tape: S-S/W TAPE
10-2 Non-conductive Swelable Tape: N-S/W TAPE

1. Applicable Cable:
– Mid to High voltage cables.

2. Descriptions:

  • Constructed in top, middle, and bottom layers: Thin, semi-conducting polyester fabric in the top layer; compound of swellable powder and anti-corrosive agent in the middle layer; and thick, semi–conducting polyester fabric in the bottom layer.
  • Outstanding performance in stopping the water from penetrating into the core; S-S/W Tape also makes electricity to circulate inside and is directly in contact with the cables’ conductive layer.
  • Extremely durable, and stable in its temperature, and non-toxic substance that will prevent various metals from corrosion.

10-B. N-S/W Tape (Non-conductive)

1. Applicable Cable:
– Mid to High voltage cables and optical communication cables.

2. Descriptions:

  • Same as S-S/W Tape in its structures, however, the polyester fabric in the top and bottom layers are non-conducting materials.
  • Outstanding performance in stopping the water from penetrating into the core.
  • Extremely durable, and stable in its temperature, and non-toxic substance that will prevent various metals from corrosion.
